What Haven’t I? – Birthday Edition

Well, it’s that time of the month again – time to play What Haven’t I!

This month, in honor of my birthday on the 24th, I’m asking for your guesses regarding my previous birthday activities.

Before we jump into any situations to ponder, let me say congratulations to Tameri Etherton, our February winner! Congratulations, Tameri!

If this is your first visit, the rules for participating are simple – write your guesses in the comments section below, check back on the 2oth to see if you’re a winner. Every month I will award two prizes; one to the person who gets the most guesses correct, and the other for the first person who left a comment and checked back regardless of how many guesses they got correct. You can’t win if you don’t play.

And now, without further ado, here are the questions:

My husband and I have birthdays two days apart. One year we gave each other a Richard Petty Driving Experience for our birthdays… talk about awesome! Hope yours is fun!

ACBBB. I want to jump into that Tahoe photo. So pretty. I wonder if they have a spa there that offers special treatments for squarrose skin? 🙂

  Oh I’ll bet they do somewhere. If I find one will you come give it a try? You can take a dip in that freezing cold lake water at the same time. It sure is pretty, but that water is dang cold. Straight from the snow melt.

1. A (This one reminded me of your funny post about learning to drive.)
2. B (You don’t strike me as a ballet person, but I could be wrong.)
3. Turkey (Unless you celebrated your birthday in November one year.)
4. B (Wild guess. You’re an adventurous soul.)
5. A (I KNOW you’ve been to LA Disneyland. You have to have been there. SF and Tahoe are so close, how could you have not been there on your birthday?)

Your quizzes are always hard. Here go my answers and the reasons for them: 1. B (‘m thinking the car photo is wishful thinking or a not-so-subliminal message.) 2. C (Clowns scare me, so you wouldn’t catch me near a circus on my birthday. Doesn’t everyone share my anxiety?) 3. D (Turkey doesn’t say “birthday.”) 4. C (I can totally see you swimming with dolphins.) 5. D (Wishful thinking or subliminal message again,) Wait! Lake Tahoe doesn’t have dolphins. Shoot! See what I mean about hard quizzes.

  Can’t see me swimming with dolphins huh? Interesting. You are correct, there are no dolphins in Lake Tahoe. And, OMG if I got a Corvette Stingray for my birthday I’d be the luckiest girl in the world. Not saying I didn’t get a car, just saying the Corvette would really be like the best gift ever!

    I had my computer hacked this week REAL bad so am so thankful to have the computer back in ship shape again. I will try to remember to check back the day before Marriage Bargain in released should be easy to remember/

So here’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for – the answers revealed!

#1 – B. I have never received a car for my birthday. My dear sweet husband makes sure I get flowers and really nice jewelry and I have gotten at least one ugly sweater, not from my husband.

#2 – C. I don’t think I have ever been to a circus. Not that I wouldn’t go, I have just never had the urge to seek out clowns and wild animals being trained to do silly things under a big tent.

#3 – D. I haven’t eaten turkey on my birthday. We eat turkey a lot at my house so I generally gravitate away from that on any special day, except of course Thanksgiving and usually Christmas. And reubens are my absolute favorite sandwiches so I eat those a lot on my birthday as well as Chinese food. Lobster? Well, that’s just a given on special occasion.

#4 – D. I have never had the inclination to scuba dive, swim with dolphins or bungie jump. I would, however, love to zip-line and some day I’m going to.

#5 – A. While I have been to San Diego, I have never been there specifically for my birthday. LA should have been a dead give-away since that’s where Disneyland is and you all know how I feel about that. For my 40th birthday my sweetie pie took me to a fancy smanchy wine pairing dinner in San Francisco followed by really good seats to see the Lion King. And Tahoe? Well that’s just too close to home to have not visited at least once for my birthday, usually with skiing involved.

So there, you have it. How’d you all do?
