May they rest in peace and may we NEVER forget.
Happy Memorial Day to my friends and a great big thank you to all the vets and enlisted military men and women everywhere. Your service and sacrifice are foremost in my mind and you are always in my prayers. Come home soon and stay safe.
How about you friends – know any vets? How do you honor the fallen or say thank you for their service? Do you do anything special on this very special day beside BBQ in the back yard?
Word of the Day: Noil
Fun fact about me: I like cake and I like ice cream, but I do not like cake and ice cream (together).

Have a happy Memorial Day and yes let’s also remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Veterans aren’t given enough respect or credit sometimes – they’re definitely taken for granted, and I’m sure they’d all want to be celebrated with a backyard BBQ, right? 🙂

I agree, Coleen. I couldn’t even imagine the sacrifice made by families who are living without their loved ones for long stretches of time on end.
And by all means, celebrate, respect and remember with a backyard BBQ and an adult beverage.
Happy Memorial Day my friend.

Noil and spinning fibers into something makes me think of the process of writing!
We had a happy Memorial day weekend. Spending most of it in Washington D.C. kept the spirit of the day in my heart.
Hope you have a happy week, Patricia! By the way, I’d eat ice cream and cake in any form or combination. 🙂

How exciting that you spent the holiday in our nation’s capital. I think that would be amazing.
I supposed noil could be used with regard to writing. Good point. And I’ve never cared for anything ala mode but I like ice cream.
