We interrupt this regularly scheduled blog to talk about you. That’s right – you. As I’m beginning to discover, it’s not always about me. (I know, that’s wrong, but true.)
So, dear readers, tell me, what’s going on in your world? What little tidbits of completely useless information should I know about you?
I care about each and every one of you and I appreciate the blog love and support you’ve shown me over the years. Your care about my world touches me deeply. But now, let’s turn that around and talk about you this week.
Anything exciting happening in your world right now? Kids graduating? Family getting married? Special landmark birthdays or anniversaries coming up? New grandbaby on the way?
Don’t forget those summer travel plans. Where are you headed? Cancun, Mexico, a tropical island, Disney World, a cruise? If you’re staying home, any plans to redecorate your house or expand your yard?
If you’re a follower of my blog, but have never chimed in before, here’s your chance. Introduce yourself. I’d like to get to you know you all a little better and find out what interests you. What sorts of things would you like me to blog about the rest of this year?
Until next week, take care of yourselves and be kind to one another.
Word of the Day: Quassia
Fun fact about me: I’ve got 2 visits to Disney planned before Christmas.

Summer vacation and chores. The biggest chore will be cleaning out my basement. I’ve been spending the last several days in the yard weeding and putting down mulch. This morning, I am off to school and learning – learning never ends. As for trips – I am looking forward to the lake and maybe a trip south. Have a great week and hope you don’t have to use any quassia, it sounds awful. Peace.

Cleaning is never a bad thing as long as that’s not all you do; like at an inn for instance (snicker). Enjoy the lake and the learning. Can’t ever have too much of that.
Thanks for visiting. Perhaps I’ll see you somewhere in the south (hmmmm).

Staying out of the heat, taking care of the twins, trying (probably in vain) to lose just five pounds. I’ve been trying to lose them for the last three months and they will not go away. Oh, and I’ll be sewing (which is that ‘staying out of the heat’ thing.

Taking care of the twins is a good thing. Those little boys are adorable and I’ll bet a lot of fun, too.
Keep up the sewing and stay out of the heat. As for the 5 pounds . . . learn to love them.
Thanks for visiting and leaving your thoughts. Always nice to see such friendly faces on a Monday morning.

I *think* we have a trip to Vegas planned…in July. Who in their right mind goes to hot as hellfire Vegas in July? Oh yeah. Us. It’s definitely not my top choice, but our friends have never been there and want to go. My only demand is to see Phantom of the Opera. 🙂 That’s pretty much my summer plans…besides trying to beat my daughter at on-line Scrabble once. Just once. She’s too stinkin’ smart.

I’ve been to Vegas in August, so, yeah, I know what that’s all about. Keep your shoes on at the pool. You’ll enjoy Phantom, it’s super good.
Enjoy your summer and try using my words of the day against your daughter. Today’s Q on a triple letter score? Oh yeah.
Have a great week.

Trying to get my 10th book edited and on the market. Maybe it’ll sell a dozen copies instead of half a dozen.

Well, I have a book coming out in two weeks, so that’s exciting! No trips for me – my husband’s taking a motorcycle trip out west next month, but that’s too hot for me, so I’m staying home. Which will be a vacation for me, too, as my mom says. 😀 Oh, and we’re doing a complete kitchen remodel in August, so that’s also exciting!

Ten might be your lucky number, Dave. Stay strong. At least you’ll be inside out of the heat.
