I know we’ve all heard the expression, “laughter is the best medicine.” I happen to believe that is true. Almost. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s the VERY best medicine, because I would not have wanted to rid my body of cancer by laughing hysterically. Believe me, there was nothing funny about that experience.
However, there are many, many times when people just need to lighten up and have a good laugh. How often have you been angry with someone (especially a spouse) and after the tears have fallen one of you makes a joke and you can’t help but laugh? It breaks the tension and helps dissolve the residual anger.
I love to laugh. I love to make people laugh. I think a lot of people who know me would say that one of the things they like about me is my sense of humor. I could be wrong, but that’s what I’m choosing to believe anyway.
I also happen to like playing games (of the board variety) and I like trivia (which you should know if you follow my author page on Facebook). I also like watching game shows on TV. Now, when you put all of these things together you get this really funny video. It’s kind of long, but it’s very funny. I hope this lightens up your Monday a little bit and makes the rest of the week a bit more bearable.
How about you, do you like to laugh? Do you like to play games? Do you watch game shows on TV? Come on, let’s hear it. I told you my guilty pleasure, let’s hear yours.
Word of the day: Higgledy-piggledy
Fun fact about me: I always thought it would be fun to be a stand-up comedian.

Weren’t some of those answer hilarious? I mean, I know people are nervous but seriously, some of those things were just way out there. And the guy on the Newlywed Game who said he thought another contestant’s wife was hot, what about that idiot? I laughed so hard at some of these clips. I’m glad you enjoyed it too. Might as well start the week off right, right?
Thanks for visiting. Have a great week.

I definitely love to laugh and freely admit I have the weirdest sense of humor. And my husband makes me laugh all the time (I secretly call him my ninja clown), so he knows the way to my heart. 🙂 I used to watch Wheel of Fortune all the time and kick everyone’s ass at it. Now my daughter can thoroughly beat me …and since she moved out on her own, I haven’t watched in a long time. But to be fair, I don’t have cable anymore, so there’s that. Have a great week, and thanks for the Monday laugh!

I about busted a gut at some of those ridiculous answers. And the hosts’ responses were just as priceless. Good times indeed.
And, I’ll bet Jack has a wickedly weird sense of humor (based on some of his FB posts) that keeps you on your toes. It’s nice to know you’re easy to please.
Thanks for visiting today. Have a great week full of laughs.

Things have been all higgeldy-piggeldy around here (not bad, just crazy). My husband is so funny, we laugh a lot! I’m convinced that’s a major part of why we’ve been married 25 years. And yes, we watch Wheel and Jeopardy. 🙂

I thinking laughing is just about the best stress reliever out there. I wish I had more of it in my life. Fortunately I’m able to laugh at myself, so there’s that.
Thanks for taking the time in all your higgledy-higgledyness to stop by today. It’s always nice to see you.

I love to laugh, too, and that video is a hoot! I used to watch The Newlywed Game and I wish they’d bring it back. Love to play board games, too. I think you have a great sense of humor and would make a great standup comedian!

Well Lynn, you never know. I might audition for one of those talent shows and just see how far my comedic skills get me.
And, I need to find someone to play board games with. My husband does not enjoy them at all. He will play if he’s at a party where everyone else is playing, but he really doesn’t enjoy them. Especially word games because I ALWAYS beat him. Hey – perks of the career right?
Thanks for stopping by with your comments. I love seeing your beautiful face.
