I love this country. I’m proud to say I’m am American. Our country is in turmoil right now. I don’t care what your political persuasion is, if you live in this great country, I believe you should honor it and take care of it. We’ve been through a lot of struggles over the years, and mistakes were made along the way, but we’ve survived by sheer determination, often at great cost. Let us never forget the struggles and sacrifices of our forefathers to build this amazing country. And let us always continue to put our best foot forward to keep it a powerful and thriving home to be proud of.
Here’s to Old Glory – long may she wave.
I wish you all a very happy and safe Independence Day!

Word of the Day: Sackbut
Fun fact about me: I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating, especially today – I am a VERY patriotic person.

Good morning, Patricia. Your devotion to this country is right near the top of the list of the many reasons I follow your blog. Another is your unapologetic willingness to articulate it. Happy 4th to you and Corey!

Thanks Al. Despite its flaws, this is still a great country. (Maybe no for much longer though.) I hope you you and Patty had a great holiday!
