It’s Monday and I’ve had a busy, busy week, last week. The inn was full to the rafters Friday and Saturday nights, couple of house tours during the week, and my new book releases Friday, so there was a lot of marketing and pre-launch hoopla to do to get all that ready. This week promises to be just as busy.
Which means, I don’t really have much of anything significant to report today except that sometimes we forget to laugh. Laughter is good for the soul and personally, I don’t think I laugh enough these days with all the stresses of life, running a business, world events, yadda, yadda, yadda. I’ve found that laughter can sometimes diffuse a tense situation or take the awkwardness out of an awkward situation.
I’ve always been one of those “funny” people. Nobody ever said, “Oh that Patricia, she’s so pretty,” or “she’s so talented,” or “she’s such a good athlete.” But people have said that I have a good sense of humor. I hope at my funeral, people will remember me as someone who loved to laugh. If not, oh well. Joke’s on them, because I do love to laugh. A lot of times I laugh at myself because I do some pretty silly stuff, but hey, I made myself laugh right? That’s something.
Anyway, in an effort to start the week off on a positive note, I’m sharing a comedy video that I hope brings some enjoyment and smiles for you to start your week off on the right foot. The video is a bit long but it’s funny all the way to the end. And it’s clean. (Sorry for the commercial breaks.) If you can’t enjoy it in its entirety, just listen for a few minutes then get on with your important stuff. Just don’t forget to laugh once in a while.
Have a great week!

Fun fact about me: I really don’t like learning anything that has to do with a computer. I find it so stressful.

My husband makes me laugh every day. I’m sure that has something to do with us still being together after 30 years! Good luck with the launch!

Thanks Jennette. I’m glad you’ve got someone who makes you laugh. Laughter just releases so much good energy in our bodies. I wish more people would laugh more often. Sounds like life at your house is a good one.
Are you still liking your new house and home town?
Patricia
