“Laughter is the best medicine.” Or so the old adage goes. But is it really true? According to my research, medical experts say “yes,” laughter is indeed great medicine for many things. Laughter is a particularly great form of stress relief, and that’s no joke.
While it can’t cure all ailments, laughter enhances your intake of oxygen which stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles, and increases endorphins that are released by your brain. It sometimes eases pain because it increases circulation, which quiets tensing muscles. Find a way to laugh about your own situations and you’ll soon notice your stress fading away. So essentially, stop being so uptight and have a good snicker, guffaw, or outright belly laugh. It’s good for what ails you.
I love to laugh. I love to make people laugh. I love comedians (unless their entire routine is just raunchy). In fact, I’ll sometimes browse YouTube listening to funny videos. In fact, I can across this little gem that I decided to share with you. He seems like such a nice guy and none of the comments appear to be planned, just pure spontaneity, which I love. I apologize for the foul language if you’re sensitive to that.
How about you guys – do you like to laugh? Do you have a favorite comedian or sitcom television show? Do you enjoy being around people who make you laugh? Wouldn’t it be fun to meet Ryan Reynolds?
I’ve got more exciting things planned for the rest of year that only my newsletter followers will know about. I promise you’ll only get 6 newsletters for the entire year, so I won’t clutter up your inbox. Word of the Day: Fistula
Fun fact about me: At one point in my life I actually considered being a stand-up comedian.

I love to laugh. I think my favorite song is, “All I wanna do” by Cheryl Crow. Sometimes I am more like a 6th grader than my students. I wanna play and laugh, because that’s the best way to learn and feel great. It’s gonna be a great day, filled with laughter and lot of learning.

Laughing with kids is the best. My 3 year old great niece had me in stitches the entire time I was with here when we recently visited. She hasn’t a care in the world, just in love with life. Hard to remember when life was so relaxed right?
Take care and enjoy the students. It’s gonna be a great day!

I love to laugh, too, but nothing quite compares to a baby giggling! It’s hard to stay upset listening to that. 🙂

Oh my gosh – YES!!! I know what you mean. Babies belly-laughing is the best things ever.
Now I’m smiling just thinking about it.
Have a wonderful day!
