On a couple of occasions in the past, I’ve blogged about my dad and his quirkiness. I’m not going to bore you with the history, but my dad is back in Mississippi and living here at the inn with my husband and I again. It has been a blessing and a burden at the same time.

I’m having one of those stormy periods folks. You know, one of those times in life when it rains it pours. That’s been me this past week or two. One unexpected thing after another. car engineWell folks, it’s that time of year for me – time for all of my annual check-ups. When I was younger, this was something old people did, not me. I guess that makes me officially – old. But, it’s important to get tune-ups as we age. Stuff starts to break down and degenerate from all the wear and tear of life. Preventative medicine goes a long way in this day and age. (more…)
