It’s that time of year again – time to start thinking about your resolutions for the coming new year. I’ve gotta say, after the last 2 years, I for one, am cautiously optimistic with my resolutions this year. Of course, I’ve never really been a resolutions kind of gal, but I’ve finally found a resolution I can get behind. And, this time, I’ve pretty sure I’m going to stick with it all year long.

Personally, I think people should start resolutions as soon as they realize there’s a need for change no matter what month it is, but there seems to be a lot of focus on those types of things in January. Usually around this time of year I post something about making new year’s resolutions. Most of the time I’m an advocate for NOT making resolutions because I believe that by so doing, you’re setting yourself up to fail which creates undue stress. I mean, let’s face it, keeping your resolve for 365 days is an astounding feat. Which is why we start making excuses for not doing what we “resolved” we were going to do. (more…)
