Happy new year! Grand tidings for brighter, more peaceful days. Only 75 days until spring officially starts! I think we’ve all breathed a sigh of relief that we’ve made it through 2020. I know a lot of you are waiting patiently for Book 3 in the Grounded Series to hit the shelves. I assure you it’s almost ready. The manuscript ended up being a lot more pages than I’d anticipated and the drafting stage took much longer than I thought it was going to. But, rest assured it is finished and in the editor’s hands. I’m as anxious as you at this point.

marketing on typewriterSo I’ve been spending a LOT of time lately learning how to market my book. For those of you who are not writers, let me just say that when you write “the end,” you’re only about a third of the way done with that story. Next comes rounds of editing and proofreading to get it exactly right and then comes the selling part. This is the hardest, yet most important part. After all, what good is a really good book with an amazing cover if nobody knows how to get their hands on it? (more…)

woman screamingNothing – and I mean NOTHING – makes me more crazy frustrated than computer problems. I HATE computers. No, strike that, I hate computers when they don’t work. I’m not computer literate. I can accomplish wonderful things with the limited amount of knowledge I possess. But, when things go wrong, I am totally lost and immediately frustrated.
