A big shout out to everyone who’s graduating or knows someone who’s graduating. Congratulations!! Graduating, be it from high school, college, or Kindergarten, is a huge deal. It’s a progression from one thing to something bigger and better. The commencement of a new chapter in the lives of those fortunate enough to have completed requirements necessary to advance.
Not to be a downer, but here’s a little secret to graduates everywhere: School never ends. As Kid President says, “We are all students and we are all teachers.”
And, because I love him so much, and I cannot relay information the way he can, here’s a message from Kid President to graduates of life. Enjoy!
Now get out there and dance!
How about you readers, what have you learned today? What lesson do you want to pass along to others? What’s the greatest piece of advice you can give for anyone graduating into the next phase of their life? Inquiring minds want to know.
Take care and don’t forget to be awesome.

He is amazing and just makes me want to go do something! Wish I could take credit for the phrase but I got it from the song Breathe by Anna Nalick. Such a beautiful song BTW.

That kid is so awesome. My advice: don’t settle and don’t be afraid to stretch for something you want, even if it seems out of your reach. Hey…maybe age does bring wisdom…just a little bit. Happy Monday and have a great week!

Coleen – age does indeed bring wisdom. It comes with aches and pains, but it’s worth it. I think age also bring courage. I’m much more willing to try stuff now that I ever was as a kid. I’m careful, but curious.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your two cents. I always love to hear positive stuff from my readers.
You have a good week as well.

Yes I am the same way too. I’m much more will to do things I would never have attempted as a kid.

Just saw many new graduates here in the city with their cap and gowns. All looked so happy and fresh faced. I wish them all luck. Not easy nowadays to start a career and pay off all those loans.

I hear ya Phil. Not to mention those poor parents who have saved for years and years so their kid could get an education and ultimately end up with no job.

Awesome! I have this quote on my desktop, but I’m don’t know who it’s by: Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
Go forth, dear graduates, and be brave!

That is a fantastic quote Sheila. So many times I’ve tried something that kind of freaked me out before I did it and now I want to do it again. I want to live!!
Thanks for stopping by. And thanks for being brave my friend.

I love his message too. And I also like the idea of “Saying Yes” in that you keep yourself open and learning. And I’m thinking your word of the day kinda goes along with that in that it’s got that whole porous open thing going and it even “sticks its neck out” of the ground. 🙂
Hope your week is off to a great start!

Hey Coleen, thanks for visiting and listening to Kid President. He’s always so positive.
I hadn’t really considered that my word matched my post, but I’ll go with your reasoning on it.
See you next time.
